The 4th Project Coordination Meeting of EU funded ‘FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS’ project was successfully organized by the REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF RODOPI S.A. (ANRO), on Tuesday, 18th of July 2023, at its offices in Komotini, Greece.
The FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS project is implemented in the framework of the INTERREG IPA CBC Programme “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020” and the 4th Meeting of the project was held with the active participation and contribution of representatives of the following organizations:
– the DEMOCRITUS UNIVERSITY OF THRACE – Department of Economic Sciences – Special Account for Research Funds [Partner No. 2 of the project]
– the organization INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION – SANDANSKI, based in SANDANSKI, Bulgaria [Partner No. 4 of the project] and of course
– the REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF RODOPI S.A. (Lead Partner of the project).
During the 4th Project Coordination Meeting there were discussed all current issues regarding the FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS project, the schedule of the project until its end (12/10/2023), all obligations and commitments of the project Partners, the implementation rates of the project, both in terms of physical and financial implementation (payments, expenses, certifications, etc.) as well as problems/obstacles and ways of dealing with them.
The main objective of the FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS project is the Promotion of Financial Instruments in the cross-border area, in order to provide the possibility of Getting Financed by these Modern Financial Instruments/Tools, for the benefit of citizens, businesses, institutions and Chambers located in the cross-border area of Greece and Bulgaria.
