The 4th (final) Specialized Training Seminar/Workshop, organized by REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF RODOPI S.A, was completed with great success at KOMOTINAI CLUB (LESCHI KOMOTINAION), 52, Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, 69100, Komotini, Greece, on Wednesday, 8th of November 2023, 10:45 – 14:00 Greek time, within the framework of the European Co–financed project FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS, of the Cross–Border Cooperation Program Greece – Bulgaria 2014-2020.
The purpose of this Educational Seminar/Workshop of the FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS project was, in principle, to inform about the actions and purposes of the project as well as to spread and promote the institution of financial tools and to investigate the possibility of financing from the modern financial tools that apply today in the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace.
In this context, EUROCONSULTANTS SA. (External EXPERT of REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF RODOPI S.A in the FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS project) and DEMOCRITUS UNIVERSITY OF THRACE – DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS – SPECIAL ACCOUNT FOR RESEARCH FUNDS made a presentation and analysis of:
- the actions of the FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS project
- the Deliverable D.3.1 entitled: “Registration and Evaluation of all Available Modern Financial Instruments/Funds in the Greece-Bulgaria Cross-Border Area”
- the Key Points of Deliverable D.3.2 entitled: “Registration and Identification of all Suitable Small and Medium Enterprises located in the Cross-Border area of Greece-Bulgaria and that can Apply for Financing from Modern Financing Tools”
- the Results of the Research in the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace within the framework of the FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS project.
The Workshops of the project was watched with great interest by businessmen and citizens of the region and by executives as well as partners of REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF RODOPI S.A.
The aim of the FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS project, in which REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF RODOPI S.A is the Lead Partner, is to update and disseminate-promote the institution of financial instruments, with the aim of enabling financing from modern financial instruments, for the benefit of ordinary citizens, businesses, institutions and the Chambers of the cross-border area of Greece-Bulgaria.
