On Thursday, September 8, 2023, four Specialized Educational Seminars of the “FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS” project were held in Komotini. The Seminars were organized by the Democritus University of Thrace and took place in a room of the Department of Economic.
The FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS project is implemented within the Interreg V-A Program “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020”, which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by national resources. The Seminars were held with the active participation of the project members and University Students.
The aim of the Seminars was to update and inform about modern financial tools, specifically what financial tools are, how they are used in the markets, what their function is and how they arise through mathematical formulas. The presentation of these was carried out by the professor of Duth, Mr. Pofinas Thomas.
During the meeting, team members, University students and stakeholders in the field, had an active continuous discussion about the financial instruments of the market.
